I serve pre-teens, adolescents and adults. I work best with people who are committed to their well-being, curious, open-minded, and excited about learning.
I believe that therapy is an investment in yourself. I value your time, my time & the work we will do together.
I charge accordingly: 55-minute individual session – $200
55-minute family/couple session – $250
Payment is due at the time of service. Cash, checks, and credit cards are accepted for your first appointment. If bringing cash, please bring the exact amount. Payments for follow-up appointments are completed through an auto-pay system.
I have chosen not to participate in insurance panels but I can provide you with a receipt to submit to your insurance provider. Some insurance providers will offer reimbursement for out-of-network therapists. Ultimately you retain full responsibility for payment of services if this does not meet your insurance requirements.
A free 20-minute in-person or phone consultation is provided to discuss your goals and determine if we would like to continue with the therapeutic process. We’ll discuss what is bringing you in and your counseling goals. I’ll answer any questions you might have and we’ll determine if we’re a good fit for each other.
Follow-up appointments are 55 minutes and are typically scheduled weekly unless other arrangements have been made. Our sessions will focus on identifying challenges and barriers that get in the way of living your life to its fullest. I utilize mindfulness practices, breathing exercises, recommended reading, and collaborative goal-setting during these sessions.
After Hours/Crisis Services
As a solo practitioner, my practice does not support those who need after-hours care or crisis services. I will not be a good fit for you if you need this level of care. If you are in crisis, please go to your local emergency room or call the Crisis Line at 800-576-7764.
My office is located at 3003 Judson Street, Gig Harbor, WA 98335. When you arrive, please have a seat in the waiting room.
Intake paperwork is completed before the first session. It is completed online through an electronic records system that keeps your information secure. I’ll send a link to the secure patient portal after our first session.
I like to be flexible and schedule clients with what works best for them. If you work with me, you simply give me a few of your scheduling options and I make it work. New clients, please schedule your first appointment during your phone consultation with me.
If you must cancel an appointment, please do so at least 48 hours prior to your scheduled appointment. Clients who miss appointments without canceling 48 hours in advance will be charged the full session fee.
